Kansas High School Basketball - Bennington topped by Sylvan-Lucas
December 1, 2023: Bennington, KS 67422 The Sylvan-Lucas Mustangs basketball team scored 40 points and restricted the host Bennington Bulldogs to 32 in the Mustangs non-league victory on Friday.
The Mustangs now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Phillipsburg for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 5. Sylvan-Lucas will battle a Panthers team coming off a 40-30 league loss to Oakley (Oakley, KS). The Panthers record now stands at 0-1.
The Bulldogs (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Solomon (Solomon, KS). The Gorillas come into the non-league contest with a 0-0 record.
