Michigan High School Basketball - Lakeview ripped by East Grand Rapids
December 18, 2023: Battle Creek, MI 49015 The East Grand Rapids Pioneers basketball team scored 54 points and held the host Lakeview Spartans to 23 in the Pioneers non-league triumph on Monday.
The Pioneers now sport a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South Christian for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 19. East Grand Rapids will meet a Sailors team coming off a 47-41 non-league loss to Unity Christian (Hudsonville, MI). The Sailors record now stands at 2-1.
The Spartans (0-4) will now prepare for their contest against Kalamazoo Central (Kalamazoo, MI). The Maroon Giants enter the Southwestern Michigan - East contest with a 3-1 record. In their last contest, Kalamazoo Central triumphed over Norrix (Kalamazoo, MI), 63-33, in a league contest.
