Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Richland topped by Penn Cambria
January 17, 2024: Cresson, PA 16630 The Penn Cambria Panthers basketball team scored 65 points and restricted the visiting Richland Rams to 48 in the Panthers league victory on Wednesday.
The Panthers now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bishop Guilfoyle for a non-league contest on Friday, January 19. Penn Cambria will battle a Marauders team coming off a 71-64 non-league win over Tyrone (Tyrone, PA). The Marauders record now stands at 1-0.
The Rams (9-4) will now prepare for their contest against Bishop McCort (Johnstown, PA). The Crushers come into the contest with a 5-6 record. In their last contest, Bishop McCort prevailed over Bedford (Bedford, PA), 35-26, in a league contest.
