Illinois High School Basketball - Aurora East fells Metea Valley
January 22, 2022: Aurora, IL 60502 Aurora East Tomcats (Aurora, IL) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Metea Valley Mustangs (Aurora, IL), 68-58 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Aurora East upgrades its record to 12-6 on the season. The Tomcats travel to Streamwood (Streamwood, IL) to clash with the Sabres in a Upstate Eight bout on Tuesday, January 25. The Sabres go into the bout with a record of 3-18. Streamwood lost 85-42 in their recent non-league bout against Rolling Meadows (Rolling Meadows, IL)
Next up, the Mustangs clash with the Elk Grove Grenadiers (Elk Grove Village, IL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 25. Metea Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 7-12 season record. The Grenadiers go into the bout with a 4-15 record after their 61-32 non-league loss to Lake Zurich (Lake Zurich, IL).
