Spectators at Friday's league battle between the Rogers Vikings (Newport, RI) and the visiting Classical Purples (Providence, RI), saw Rogers's baseball squad knock off Classical by a count of 5-2.

Coming up next, the Vikings play the Blackstone Valley Prep PRIDE (Cumberland, RI) in a Division 3 battle, on Tuesday, April 18. Rogers will attempt to move on its 3-1 season record.
