October 8, 2009: Vancouver, WA 98661 The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Columbia River Chieftains (Vancouver, WA) and the host Hudson's Bay Eagles (Vancouver, WA), saw Columbia River's volleyball squad beat Hudson's Bay by a tally of 3-0.

The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 7-1. Prairie won 3-1 in their recent league bout against Camas (Camas, WA)
The Eagles now own a 1-6 record. They play next when they host Fort Vancouver for a 3A Greater St. Helens bout on Tuesday, October 13. Hudson's Bay will play a Trappers squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Union (Vancouver, WA). The Trappers record now stands at 1-7.
