The Mogollon Mustangs basketball team scored 54 points and restricted the visiting Round Valley Elks to 48 in the Mustangs non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Mustangs now sport a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fort Thomas for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 9. Mogollon will battle a Apaches team coming off a 74-39 non-league win over San Carlos (San Carlos, AZ). The Apaches record now stands at 3-1.

The Elks (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Silver (Silver City, NM). The Fighting Colts come into the non-league contest with a 1-3 record. In their last contest, Silver was nudged by Deming (Deming, NM), 42-24, in a non-league contest.
