North Carolina High School Football - Freedom defeats Ashe County

October 15, 2021: Morganton, NC 28655

In Friday's league match, the host Freedom Patriots football squad scored a good 54-28 victory over the Ashe County Huskies.

In their next game, the Patriots clash with the Watauga Pioneers (Boone, NC) in a 3A/4A West Conference 52 match, on Friday, October 22. Freedom will attempt to move on its 4-3 season record. The Pioneers enter the bout with a 6-2 record after their 49-13 league win over Hibriten (Lenoir, NC).

The Huskies (1-6) will now prepare for their bout against South Caldwell (Hudson, NC). The Spartans enter the 3A/4A West Conference 52 bout with a 6-1 record. In their last bout, South Caldwell defeated Alexander Central (Taylorsville, NC), 51-27, in a league bout.
