January 5, 2019: Gainesville, FL 32607 Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Prolific Prep of Napa Valley Crew (Napa, CA) and the host The Rock Lions (Gainesville, FL), saw Prolific Prep of Napa Valley's basketball squad hold off The Rock by a tally of 68-62.
With the victory, Prolific Prep of Napa Valley improves its record to 21-3 on the campaign. The Crew travel to Springfield (Springfield, OH) to confront the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 19. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 6-3. Springfield won 63-46 in their recent non-league challenge against Lebanon (Lebanon, OH)
Next up, the Lions confront the Central Pointe Christian Academy White Tigers (Kissimmee, FL) in a Sunshine Independent challenge, on Tuesday, January 8. The Rock will attempt to improve on its 4-6 season record. The White Tigers come into the challenge with a 10-5 record after their 80-77 non-league loss to Eastside (Gainesville, FL).
