Minnesota High School Basketball - Grand Meadow nips Blooming Prairie
February 13, 2023: Blooming Prairie, MN 55917 Grand Meadow Superlarks (Grand Meadow, MN) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Blooming Prairie Awesome Blossoms (Blooming Prairie, MN), 47-45 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Grand Meadow advances its record to 21-2 on the season. The Superlarks host LeRoy-Ostrander (LeRoy, MN) to encounter the Cardinals in a A Section 1 test on Tuesday, February 14. The Cardinals go into the test with a record of 5-18. LeRoy-Ostrander lost 66-52 in their recent league test against Spring Grove (Spring Grove, MN)
The Awesome Blossoms now own a 9-8 record. They play next when they travel to Medford for a non-league test on Tuesday, February 14. Blooming Prairie will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 45-23 non-league loss to Kenyon-Wanamingo (Kenyon, MN). The Tigers record now stands at 2-16.
