Florida High School Basketball - DeSoto County fells McLaughlin
December 3, 2022: Arcadia, FL 34266 DeSoto County Bulldogs (Arcadia, FL) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting McLaughlin Phoenix (Lake Wales, FL), 51-41 in a non-league bout.
With the win, DeSoto County upgrades its record to 2-2 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Hardee (Wauchula, FL) to clash with the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Monday, December 5. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 0-0.
Next up, the Phoenix clash with the Oasis Christian Lions (Winter Haven, FL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 6. McLaughlin will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 3-0 record after their 53-29 league win over Ridgeview Global Studies Academy (Davenport, FL).
