The South Medford Panthers held off the host Burns Hilanders volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Friday's non-league test.

The Panthers now have a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Summit for a non-league test on Friday, September 1.

The Hilanders (3-1) will now prepare for their test against La Pine (La Pine, OR). The Hawks enter the non-league test with a 2-0 record. In their last test, La Pine held off Lakeview (Lakeview, OR), 2-1, in a non-league test.
