North Carolina High School Basketball - Piedmont Community Charter succumbs to Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy
January 11, 2019: Mooresboro, NC 28114 The Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy Gryphons topped the visiting Piedmont Community Charter Patriots basketball team by a final score of 28-9 in Friday's league game.
In their next game, the Gryphons face the Bessemer City Yellow Jackets (Bessemer City, NC) in a Southern Piedmont 1A game, on Friday, January 18. Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy will attempt to move on its 1-9 season record. The Yellow Jackets enter the game with a 2-10 record after their 47-27 league loss to Cherryville (Cherryville, NC).
