Hiland Hawks (Berlin, OH) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Indian Valley Braves (Gnadenhutten, OH), 8-1 in a league test.

With the win, Hiland upgrades its record to 5-0 on the season. The Hawks host Garaway (Sugarcreek, OH) to battle the Pirates in a Inter-Valley test on Thursday, May 2. The Pirates come into the test with a record of 2-4. Garaway lost 7-0 in their recent non-league test against Buckeye Trail (Lore City, OH)

With the defeat, Indian Valley falls to 16-2 on the season. The Braves host Tuscarawas Valley (Zoarville, OH) to battle the Trojans in a non-league test on Friday, May 3.
