The Milford Spartans basketball team scored 50 points and held the visiting Timberlane Owls to 25 in the Spartans league triumph on Thursday.

The Spartans now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Derryfield for a non-league contest on Wednesday, January 4. Milford will battle a Cougars team coming off a 53-40 non-league win over Plymouth (Plymouth, NH). The Cougars record now stands at 1-1.
