Nebraska High School Basketball - Wisner-Pilger overwhelms Pender
January 29, 2022: Pender, NE 68047 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Wisner-Pilger Gators (Wisner, NE) and the host Pender Pendragons (Pender, NE), saw Wisner-Pilger's basketball squad wallop Pender by a tally of 69-38.
With the victory, Wisner-Pilger improves its record to 8-10 on the campaign. The Gators travel to North Bend Central (North Bend, NE) to play the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 1. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 13-5. North Bend Central won 76-32 in their recent non-league challenge against Twin River (Genoa, NE)
Next up, the Pendragons play the Madison Dragons (Madison, NE) in a C2 District 5 challenge, on Tuesday, February 1. Pender will attempt to improve on its 1-19 season record. The Dragons come into the challenge with a 4-14 record after their 72-31 non-league loss to Oakland-Craig (Oakland, NE).
