Tennessee High School Basketball - Westmoreland crushes Greenbrier
January 18, 2022: Westmoreland, TN 37186 Westmoreland Eagles (Westmoreland, TN) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Greenbrier Bobcats (Greenbrier, TN), 61-29 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Westmoreland upgrades its record to 15-3 on the season. The Eagles host Cannon County (Woodbury, TN) to clash with the Lions in a 2A District 6 bout on Friday, January 21. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 9-9. Cannon County won 55-45 in their recent non-league bout against Whitwell (Whitwell, TN)
Next up, the Bobcats clash with the Montgomery Central Indians (Cunningham, TN) in a 3A District 9 bout, on Friday, January 21. Greenbrier will attempt to upgrade on its 5-10 season record. The Indians go into the bout with a 0-9 record after their 62-38 non-league loss to Sycamore (Pleasant View, TN).
