With the victory, Deer Creek-Mackinaw improves its record to 25-4 on the campaign. The Chiefs host Fieldcrest (Minonk, IL) to confront the Knights in a Heart Of Illinois challenge on Thursday, February 2. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 25-3. Fieldcrest won 82-18 in their recent non-league challenge against Henry-Senachwine (Henry, IL)
Next up, the Chargers confront the Roanoke-Benson Rockets (Roanoke, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 4. Peoria Christian will attempt to improve on its 2-11 season record. The Rockets come into the challenge with a 15-11 record after their 62-26 league win over Marquette (Ottawa, IL).
