The Tarpon Springs Spongers crushed the visiting Dixie Hollins Rebels baseball team by a count of 12-2 in Wednesday's non-league bout.

The Spongers now possess a 3-15 record. They take the field next when they host Indian Rocks Christian for a non-league game on Friday, April 27. Tarpon Springs will clash with a Golden Eagles team coming off a 6-5 non-league loss to Clearwater (Clearwater, FL). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 10-14.

The Rebels (5-18) will now prepare for their game against Bell Creek Academy (Riverview, FL). The Panthers go into the non-league game with a 11-11 record. In their last game, Bell Creek Academy overcame Academy at the Lakes (Land O' Lakes, FL), 11-3, in a non-league game.
