Maryland High School Basketball - Stone knocked off by Chopticon

The Chopticon Braves basketball team scored 57 points and held the visiting Stone Cougars to 43 in the Braves league triumph on Wednesday.

The Braves now sport a 10-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Huntingtown for a Southern Maryland contest on Friday, February 6.

The Cougars (1-6) will now prepare for their contest against Northern (Owings, MD). The Patriots enter the Southern Maryland contest with a 14-3 record. In their last contest, Northern ran past Great Mills (Great Mills, MD), 72-57, in a league contest.
