Delaware High School Softball - Seaford nudges Glasgow
March 18, 2024: Newark, DE 19702 Seaford Bluejays (Seaford, DE) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Glasgow Dragons (Newark, DE), 1-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Bluejays now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Sussex Academy for a Henlopen South challenge on Thursday, March 21. Seaford will battle a Seahawks squad coming off a 14-13 non-league win over Wilmington Charter (Wilmington, DE). The Seahawks record now stands at 1-0.
With the loss, Glasgow falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Dragons travel to Mount Pleasant (Wilmington, DE) to battle the Green Knights in a Blue Hen - Flight A challenge on Wednesday, March 20. The Green Knights enter the challenge with a record of 1-0. Mount Pleasant won 11-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Dickinson (Wilmington, DE)
