In Saturday's non-league outing, the Rockbridge County Wildcats (Lexington, VA) basketball squad beat the visiting Alleghany Mountaineers (Covington, VA), by a count of 62-43.

The Wildcats (6-6) will now prepare for their outing against Fluvanna County (Palmyra, VA). The Flying Flucos go into the non-league outing with a 5-6 record. In their last outing, Fluvanna County was topped by Charlottesville (Charlottesville, VA), 97-73, in a league outing.
