Virginia High School Basketball - Central Wise crushes J.I. Burton
November 30, 2021: Norton, VA 24273 Central Wise Warriors (Norton, VA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host J.I. Burton Black Raiders (Norton, VA), 63-21 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Central Wise upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Warriors travel to Thomas Walker (Ewing, VA) to play the Pioneers in a non-league bout on Friday, December 3. The Pioneers go into the bout with a record of 2-0. Thomas Walker won 51-37 in their recent non-league bout against Richlands (Richlands, VA)
Next up, the Black Raiders play the Richlands Blue Tornado (Richlands, VA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 3. J.I. Burton will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Blue Tornado go into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 51-37 non-league loss to Thomas Walker (Ewing, VA).
