Green City Gophers (Green City, MO) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Brashear Tigers (Brashear, MO), 80-46 in a league bout.

With the victory, Green City upgrades its record to 14-2 on the campaign. The Gophers travel to Putnam County (Unionville, MO) to play the Midgets in a non-league bout on Friday, January 27. The Midgets come into the bout with a record of 7-7. Putnam County lost 67-60 in their recent non-league bout against Knox County (Edina, MO)

Next up, the Tigers play the Madison Panthers (Madison, MO) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 3. Brashear will attempt to upgrade on its 5-7 season record.
