California High School Basketball - Montgomery fells Otay Ranch

January 12, 2024: San Diego, CA 92154

Montgomery Aztecs (San Diego, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Otay Ranch Mustangs (Chula Vista, CA), 66-55 in a league bout.

With the win, Montgomery upgrades its record to 11-9 on the season. The Aztecs travel to St. Mary's Academy (Inglewood, CA) to clash with the Belles in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 13. The Belles go into the bout with a record of 11-7. St. Mary's Academy won 60-51 in their recent league bout against St. Paul (Santa Fe Springs, CA)

Next up, the Mustangs clash with the Chula Vista Spartans (Chula Vista, CA) in a South Bay bout, on Wednesday, January 17. Otay Ranch will attempt to upgrade on its 10-6 season record.
