Oregon High School Basketball - Liberty holds off Corvallis
December 2, 2022: Hillsboro, OR 97124 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Liberty Falcons (Hillsboro, OR) and the visiting Corvallis Spartans (Corvallis, OR), saw Liberty's basketball squad hold off Corvallis by a tally of 78-74.
With the victory, Liberty improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Battle Ground (Battle Ground, WA) to confront the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, December 28. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 1-1.
Next up, the Spartans confront the McKay Royal Scots (Salem, OR) in a 5A Mid-Willamette challenge, on Tuesday, December 13. Corvallis will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Royal Scots come into the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 56-42 non-league win over Glencoe (Hillsboro, OR).
