Alhambra Lions (Phoenix, AZ) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Valley Christian Trojans (Chandler, AZ), 11-6 in a non-league test.

With the win, Alhambra upgrades its record to 8-2 on the season. The Lions travel to Bagdad (Bagdad, AZ) to battle the Sultans in a non-league test on Saturday, March 19. The Sultans come into the test with a record of 8-3. Bagdad won 12-1 in their recent non-league test against Ironwood (Glendale, AZ)

With the defeat, Valley Christian falls to 7-2 on the season. The Trojans travel to Tempe Prep (Tempe, AZ) to battle the Knights in a IV Section IV test on Tuesday, March 22. The Knights come into the test with a record of 5-6. Tempe Prep lost 6-4 in their recent non-league test against Chinle (Chinle, AZ)
