April 15, 2022: Munford, AL 36268 Munford Lions (Munford, AL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Sylacauga Aggies (Sylacauga, AL), 5-2 in a non-league challenge.
The Lions now own a 9-1 record. They take the field next when they host Oxford for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 16. Munford will face a Yellow Jackets squad coming off a 7-1 non-league win over Lincoln (Lincoln, AL). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 6-7.
With the loss, Sylacauga falls to 5-3 on the campaign. The Aggies travel to Lincoln (Lincoln, AL) to face the Golden Bears in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 16.
