The Lamar Raiders basketball team scored 51 points and restricted the host Union Yellowjackets to 41 in the Raiders non-league victory on Friday.

The Raiders now sport a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hartfield Academy for a non-league contest on Monday, December 6. Lamar will battle a Hawks team coming off a 48-38 non-league win over Starkville Academy (Starkville, MS). The Hawks record now stands at 10-1.

The Yellowjackets (0-3) will now prepare for their contest against Philadelphia (Philadelphia, MS). The Tornadoes come into the non-league contest with a 2-2 record.
