In Wednesday's non-league test, the host Newtown Nighthawks ice hockey team scored a tight 3-1 win over the Lyman Hall Trojans.

The Nighthawks (10-8) will now prepare for their test against New Fairfield/Immaculate (New Fairfield, CT). The enter the South-West - DII test with a 2-14 record. In their last test, New Fairfield/Immaculate by New Milford (New Milford, CT), 5-2, in a league test.
