California High School Basketball - Los Gatos topped by Palo Alto

The Palo Alto Vikings basketball team scored 72 points and restricted the visiting Los Gatos Wildcats to 61 in the Vikings league victory on Friday.

The Vikings now sport a 20-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mountain View for a Santa Clara Valley - De Anza match on Wednesday, February 14. Palo Alto will meet a Spartans team coming off a 67-58 league loss to Cupertino (Cupertino, CA). The Spartans record now stands at 11-11.

With the defeat, Los Gatos moves to 16-6 on the year. The Wildcats host Los Altos (Los Altos, CA) to meet the Eagles in a Santa Clara Valley - De Anza match on Wednesday, February 14. The Eagles enter the match with a record of 14-8. Los Altos won 52-34 in their recent league match against Homestead (Cupertino, CA)
