Stratford Spartans (Houston, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host MacArthur Brahmas (San Antonio, TX), 5-2 in a non-league test.

With the win, Stratford upgrades its record to 4-2 on the season. The Spartans travel to Lehman (Kyle, TX) to battle the Lobo in a non-league test on Friday, March 4. The Lobo come into the test with a record of 0-1. Lehman lost 5-0 in their recent non-league test against Canyon Lake (Fischer, TX)

With the defeat, MacArthur falls to 0-3 on the season. The Brahmas travel to SA Roosevelt (San Antonio, TX) to battle the Rough Riders in a 6A Region IV District 28 test on Tuesday, March 8. The Rough Riders come into the test with a record of 2-7. SA Roosevelt lost 17-5 in their recent non-league test against Alamo Heights (San Antonio, TX)
