Louisiana High School Baseball - University Lab defeats Ascension Catholic
March 1, 2011: Baton Rouge, LA 70803 University Lab Cubs (Baton Rouge, LA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Ascension Catholic Bulldogs (Donaldsonville, LA), 11-4 in a non-league test.
With the win, University Lab upgrades its record to 4-0 on the season. The Cubs host Curtis (River Ridge, LA) to battle the Patriots in a non-league test on Friday, March 4. The Patriots come into the test with a record of 1-4. Curtis lost 15-2 in their recent non-league test against St. Paul (Covington, LA)
With the defeat, Ascension Catholic falls to 2-2 on the season. The Bulldogs host Pineville (Pineville, LA) to battle the Rebels in a non-league test on Saturday, March 5. The Rebels come into the test with a record of 2-3.
