New York High School Basketball - Mechanicville ripped by Mekeel Christian Academy
December 28, 2018: Mechanicville, NY 12118 The Mekeel Christian Academy Lions basketball team scored 76 points and held the host Mechanicville Red Raiders to 51 in the Lions non-league triumph on Friday.
The Lions now sport a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bishop Kearney for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 5. Mekeel Christian Academy will meet a Kings team coming off a 79-66 non-league loss to Eastridge (Rochester, NY). The Kings record now stands at 4-4.
The Red Raiders (5-3) will now prepare for their contest against Tamarac (Troy, NY). The Bengals enter the Section 2 Wasaren - A contest with a 7-2 record. In their last contest, Tamarac triumphed over Hawthorne Valley (Ghent, NY), 83-35, in a non-league contest.
