December 9, 2023: Spartanburg, SC 29307 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Fountain Inn Fury (Fountain Inn, SC) and the host Spartanburg Vikings (Spartanburg, SC), saw Fountain Inn's basketball squad hold off Spartanburg by a tally of 58-56.
With the victory, Fountain Inn improves its record to 6-2 on the campaign. The Fury host Laurens (Laurens, SC) to confront the Raiders in a non-league challenge on Monday, December 11. The Raiders come into the challenge with a record of 2-6. Laurens lost 58-47 in their recent non-league challenge against Clinton (Clinton, SC)
Next up, the Vikings confront the T.L. Hanna Yellow Jackets (Anderson, SC) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 11. Spartanburg will attempt to improve on its 5-3 season record. The Yellow Jackets come into the challenge with a 9-1 record after their 60-27 non-league win over Westside (Anderson, SC).
