The Boaz Pirates basketball team scored 43 points and held the visiting Etowah Blue Devils to 13 in the Pirates non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Pirates now sport a 15-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Albertville for a non-league contest on Monday, January 29. Boaz will meet a Aggies team coming off a 57-13 league loss to Sparkman (Harvest, AL). The Aggies record now stands at 4-17.
