August 19, 2023: Fort Worth, TX 76116 The YWLA at Arnold Tigers held off the host Western Hills Cougars volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Tigers now have a 9-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Keene for a non-league test on Saturday, August 19. YWLA at Arnold will confront a Chargers team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Blooming Grove (Blooming Grove, TX). The Chargers record now stands at 9-1.
The Cougars (4-4) will now prepare for their test against Carter-Riverside (Fort Worth, TX). The Eagles enter the 4A Region II District 9 test with a 0-7 record. In their last test, Carter-Riverside was nudged by Millsap (Millsap, TX), 2-0, in a non-league test.
