Minnesota High School Basketball - Marshall knocked off by New Ulm
February 18, 2022: New Ulm, MN 56073 The New Ulm Eagles basketball team scored 72 points and held the visiting Marshall Tigers to 61 in the Eagles league triumph on Friday.
The Eagles now sport a 18-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Jackson County Central for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 24. New Ulm will battle a Huskies team coming off a 63-51 non-league loss to Blue Earth (Blue Earth, MN). The Huskies record now stands at 9-14.
The Tigers (12-9) will now prepare for their contest against Moorhead (Moorhead, MN). The Spuds enter the non-league contest with a 9-11 record. In their last contest, Moorhead was defeated by Sartell-St. Stephen (Sartell, MN), 67-66, in a league contest.
