Texas High School Basketball - Plano crushes South Grand Prairie
December 30, 2022: Grand Prairie, TX 75052 Plano Wildcats (Plano, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host South Grand Prairie Warriors (Grand Prairie, TX), 59-30 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Plano upgrades its record to 11-6 on the season. The Wildcats host Marcus (Flower Mound, TX) to play the Marauders in a 6A Region I District 6 bout on Tuesday, January 3. The Marauders go into the bout with a record of 8-10. Marcus lost 61-54 in their recent non-league bout against Pearce (Richardson, TX)
Next up, the Warriors play the Sam Houston Texans (Arlington, TX) in a 6A Region I District 8 bout, on Tuesday, January 3. South Grand Prairie will attempt to upgrade on its 8-9 season record. The Texans go into the bout with a 17-6 record after their 56-37 non-league win over Crandall (Crandall, TX).
