New York High School Softball - Randolph gets by Olean
May 13, 2024: Randolph, NY 14772 The Randolph Cardinals got by the visiting Olean Huskies softball squad by a count of 6-5 in Monday's non-league battle.
The Cardinals (8-9) will now prepare for their battle against Chautauqua Lake (Mayville, NY). The Eagles go into the non-league battle with a 14-2 record. In their last battle, Chautauqua Lake was edged by Silver Creek (Silver Creek, NY), 6-3, in a non-league battle.
The Huskies now sport a 9-7 record. They play next when they travel to Falconer for a Chautaqua / Cattaragus I West battle on Tuesday, May 14. Olean will meet a Golden Falcons squad coming off a 5-1 league loss to Allegany-Limestone (Allegany, NY). The Golden Falcons record now stands at 12-4.
