Ironwood Ridge Nighthawks (Tucson, AZ) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Nogales Apaches (Nogales, AZ), 13-3 in a league test.

With the win, Ironwood Ridge upgrades its record to 26-5 on the season. The Nighthawks travel to Sunnyslope (Phoenix, AZ) to battle the Vikings in a non-league test on Thursday, May 9. The Vikings come into the test with a record of 27-4. Sunnyslope won 7-2 in their recent league test against Seton Catholic (Chandler, AZ)

With the defeat, Nogales falls to 22-9 on the season. The Apaches travel to Sahuaro (Tucson, AZ) to battle the Cougars in a II Section I test on Tuesday, May 7. The Cougars come into the test with a record of 26-5. Sahuaro won 6-5 in their recent non-league test against Gila Ridge (Yuma, AZ)
