Connecticut High School Basketball - McMahon topped by Stamford
February 18, 2009: Stamford, CT 06902 The Stamford Black Knights basketball team scored 68 points and restricted the visiting McMahon Senators to 48 in the Black Knights league victory on Wednesday.
The Black Knights now sport a 16-2 record. They play next when they travel to Trumbull for a Fairfield County contest on Monday, February 23. Stamford will meet a Golden Eagles team coming off a 59-40 league win over Darien (Darien, CT). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 10-8.
The Senators (6-12) will now prepare for their contest against Greenwich (Greenwich, CT). The Cardinals come into the Fairfield County contest with a 11-7 record. In their last contest, Greenwich was defeated by Ridgefield (Ridgefield, CT), 46-43, in a league contest.
