Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Fivay Falcons (Hudson, FL) and the host Cypress Creek Coyotes (Wesley Chapel, FL), saw Fivay's basketball squad overcome Cypress Creek by a tally of 60-50.

With the victory, Fivay improves its record to 10-10 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to River Ridge (New Port Richey, FL) to play the Royal Knights in a 5A District 6 challenge on Thursday, January 25. The Royal Knights come into the challenge with a record of 4-13. River Ridge lost 51-47 in their recent non-league challenge against Anclote (Holiday, FL)

Next up, the Coyotes play the Zephyrhills Bulldogs (Zephyrhills, FL) in a 5A District 6 challenge, on Wednesday, January 24. Cypress Creek will attempt to improve on its 8-11 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 10-9 record after their 58-52 non-league win over Lake Minneola (Minneola, FL).
