January 21, 2023: Bremerton, WA 98311 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Lakes Lancers (Lakewood, WA) and the host Olympic Trojans (Bremerton, WA), saw Lakes's basketball squad overcome Olympic by a tally of 60-46.
With the victory, Lakes improves its record to 4-13 on the campaign. The Lancers host Lincoln (Tacoma, WA) to confront the Abes in a 3A Pierce County challenge on Tuesday, January 24. The Abes come into the challenge with a record of 14-6. Lincoln won 61-50 in their recent league challenge against Silas (Tacoma, WA)
Next up, the Trojans confront the Bremerton Knights (Bremerton, WA) in a 2A Olympic challenge, on Tuesday, January 24. Olympic will attempt to improve on its 4-8 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 3-11 record after their 57-54 non-league loss to Central Kitsap (Silverdale, WA).
