Kansas High School Basketball - Nemaha Central can't hold off Sabetha
February 6, 2024: Sabetha, KS 66534 The Sabetha Bluejays basketball team scored 44 points and held the visiting Nemaha Central Thunder to 41 in the Bluejays non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Bluejays now sport a 13-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Perry-Lecompton for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 8. Sabetha will battle a Kaws team coming off a 66-34 non-league win over Royal Valley (Hoyt, KS). The Kaws record now stands at 12-3.
The Thunder (10-5) will now prepare for their contest against Perry-Lecompton (Perry, KS). The Kaws enter the non-league contest with a 12-4 record. In their last contest, Perry-Lecompton was nudged by Sabetha (Sabetha, KS), 65-37, in a non-league contest.
