In Friday's league game, the Altoona Mountain Lions (Altoona, PA) football team tipped the host Carlisle Thundering Herd (Carlisle, PA), by a final score of 49-42.

The Mountain Lions (3-3) will now prepare for their game against Central Dauphin (Harrisburg, PA). The Rams come into the Mid-Penn - Commonwealth game with a 4-2 record. In their last game, Central Dauphin was tipped by Harrisburg (Harrisburg, PA), 20-5, in a league game.

The Thundering Herd now hold a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cumberland Valley for a Mid-Penn - Commonwealth game on Friday, October 5.
