Texas High School Basketball - North Lamar nips Denison
November 28, 2023: Denison, TX 75020 North Lamar Panthers (Paris, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Denison Yellow Jackets (Denison, TX), 49-43 in a non-league bout.
With the win, North Lamar upgrades its record to 5-3 on the season. The Panthers travel to Cooper (Cooper, TX) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Thursday, November 30. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 3-6. Cooper won 56-54 in their recent non-league bout against Chisum (Paris, TX)
Next up, the Yellow Jackets play the Poteet Pirates (Mesquite, TX) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, November 30. Denison will attempt to upgrade on its 7-7 season record. The Pirates go into the bout with a 4-6 record after their 54-25 non-league loss to Lovejoy (Lucas, TX).
