Indiana High School Softball - River Forest bounces Hammond Academy of Science & Tech

River Forest Ingots (Hobart, IN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Hammond Academy of Science & Tech Hawks (Hammond, IN), 15-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Ingots now own a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hammond Bishop Noll for a Greater South Shore challenge on Monday, April 19. River Forest will battle a Warriors squad coming off a 11-1 non-league loss to Logansport (Logansport, IN). The Warriors record now stands at 4-5.

With the loss, Hammond Academy of Science & Tech falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to Calumet Christian (Griffith, IN) to battle the Patriots in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 20. The Patriots enter the challenge with a record of 3-0. Calumet Christian won 15-6 in their recent non-league challenge against Victory Christian Academy (Valparaiso, IN)
