The R-S Central Hilltoppers crushed the host North Henderson Knights baseball team by a tally of 12-2 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Hilltoppers now hold a 16-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Chase for a Mountain Foothills Seven 2A bout on Tuesday, May 3. R-S Central will face a Trojans team coming off a 13-1 league win over Patton (Morganton, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 13-5.

Next, the Knights face the East Henderson Eagles (East Flat Rock, NC) in a Mountain Seven 3A bout, on Saturday, April 30. North Henderson will attempt to advance on its 14-7 season record. The Eagles enter the bout with a 8-10 record after their 9-6 non-league win over Owen (Black Mountain, NC).
