Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Karns City overwhelms North Clarion
February 7, 2024: Tionesta, PA 16353 Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Karns City Gremlins (Karns City, PA) and the host North Clarion Wolves (Tionesta, PA), saw Karns City's basketball squad wallop North Clarion by a tally of 83-62.
With the victory, Karns City improves its record to 14-6 on the campaign. The Gremlins host Union (Rimersburg, PA) to confront the Knights/Damsels in a Keystone Shortway challenge on Friday, February 9. The Knights/Damsels come into the challenge with a record of 12-9. Union lost 69-47 in their recent league challenge against Redbank Valley (New Bethlehem, PA)
Next up, the Wolves confront the Moniteau Warriors (West Sunbury, PA) in a Keystone Shortway challenge, on Friday, February 9. North Clarion will attempt to improve on its 4-14 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 7-8 record after their 60-40 league win over Allegheny-Clarion Valley (Foxburg, PA).
